Stick Grip - T-6 Texan II

“Earning your wings” is often considered in the top 5 days of an aviator's life. While there are many more mountains to climb after this milestone, it is universally accepted to enjoy this moment before opening your next set of publications and going on to do bigger or better things in the name of our country.  And before you know it, flight school is a long distant, but always fond memory.  A great way to commemorate this occasion is with a Velvet Dagger Stick Grip Desktop Display - a 1:1 scale replica of the control stick grip from every* student aviator's first trainer aircraft (*since 2010 for the aquatic services, way longer for the Air Force, but not the Army; we’ll figure yours out soon enough!), the T-6 Texan II (available in T-6A and T-6B configurations).  Buying this as a gift for your special flyboy or flygirl and you have no idea what that last sentence means? No problem!  The first drop-down menu includes a description (branch of service) associated with each configuration.  The default selection is the T-6B.
 
Each grip comes with a base accented with faux rivets and two pile-side Velcro mounting points (for your aviator's name tape and unit patch, or whatever you want to put on there).  The second drop-down menu provides color options for your base (military gray or Air Force blue).  The default selection is military gray.

Material construction: 3D printed ABS and PLA.
 
Assembly instructions: to save on shipping and limit the possibility of damage in transit, this item will not arrive assembled. After taking your items out of the packaging, place the base of the stick grip through the pre-made hole in the base and screw clockwise until hand-tight (if you’re squeezing too tight, adjust trim; but seriously, don’t over tighten).
